Homeless Europe Indoor Football Cup 2007 (Gdansk, Poland)

The 3rd Homeless Europe Indoor Football Cup took place at Gdansk, Poland, on 16th-18th of November, 2007.

The participants were teams from 9 countries: Russia, Estonia, Denmark, Holland, Check Republic, Ukraine, Poland, Austria and Lithuania. The core of Lithuanian team was “FK Feniksas” players.

Teams were divided into 2 groups:

Group A: Lithuania, Estonia, Check Republic, Poland

Group B: Russia, Ukraine, Holland, Denmark, Austria.

Lithuania – Check Republic 9-0; Lithuania – Estonia 2-3; Lithuania – Poland 5-0; Check Republic – Estonia 0-9; Poland – Estonia 2-4; Poland – Check Republic 7-1;

Estonia – 9 points
Lithuania – 6 points
Poland – 3 points
Check Republic – 0 points



Group B:
Ukraine – 12 points
Russia – 9 points
Austria – 6 points
Holland – 3 points
Denmark – 0 points



Semi-finals:

Lithuania – Ukraine 2-2 (1-2), penalty shoot-out 3-2.

Russia – Estonia 3-2 (2-1).

Third place: Ukraine – Estonia 4-2.

Final: Lithuania – Russia 4-1 (0-1)

After a hard fight Lithuanian team became European Champions second time in a row.
